We provide Fractional CFO services for fast-growing eCommerce Brands and Agencies across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, with one goal in mind:
To help eCommerce business owners scale their businesses with more cash and less stress.
This requires a broad range of skills including financial modelling, risk management, US/Canadian GAAP, financing, audit and investor relations. We are small but growing fast, which means real ownership and a clear path into future roles such as Finance Manager or VP Finance.
As you'd expect of a finance company, we work hard when it counts — but not for the sake of it. We don't miss the things that matter outside work, we protect our time, and we usually sign off early on Fridays.
You're an experienced Senior Analyst who wants your work to have a real impact. You'll own a portfolio of clients end-to-end — building their financial models, running their monthly numbers, and fielding questions directly from owners and their investors. The models and analysis you build help business owners unplug on vacation, get time back with their families, and enjoy running their companies again.
You'll report to our FP&A Manager and work directly alongside our senior partners and managing partner — a small, senior team where your work is visible and your growth into Finance Manager or VP Finance is real, not aspirational.
Across your portfolio you'll handle financial modelling, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, scenario planning and variance analysis. You'll build 3-statement financial models from the ground up, then run and adjust them every month against each client's actual results.
You'll work across a wide range of platforms including Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Glew.io, Amazon Seller/Vendor, Rippling and Gusto. We hire for modelling skill and judgment and will train you on our stack — you don't need prior experience with every tool.
A note on intensity: this is a demanding role, but the intensity is project-driven, not chronic. Crunch clusters around month-end close and client board prep; the rest of the time you own your calendar.
This is a fully remote, Bengaluru-based role. We focus on output and impact rather than hours logged.
Please read this carefully before applying: the role works an evening/overnight India shift to overlap with our North American leadership and marketing teams — consistent overlap with Pacific Time, roughly 6:00am–2:00pm PT, which is about 6:30pm–2:30am IST. Apply only if that schedule works for you long-term.
We build forecasts that are realistic, robust and useful for decision-making.
We look backward so we can look forward — to manage cash flow and mitigate risk.
Apply through this posting with your CV. Expect a straightforward, respectful process:
We typically move from application to offer within 2–3 weeks.
As part of our initial screening process, candidates will be asked to submit a short video. This helps us assess communication skills, genuine interest in the role, and basic video/audio setup.
Please address the following in your video:
We keep tabs on the economy, industry trends and best practices, and we know about problems and solutions before our clients do. We proactively suggest new ideas, mitigate risk, and continually look for ways to improve both our own and our clients' businesses.
We do great work. We double check. We ask for input. We review, test and verify. We step away and come back with "fresh eyes." We hold ourselves to a high standard.
We figure things out. We rarely throw our hands up and say "I don't know" — we challenge the status quo and get more done on tighter budgets. We take the time to understand client processes, then find ways to improve them.
Our clients are the core of our "Why." We schedule in our clients' time zones, work hard to make sure they feel valued, empathise when needed, and do our best to understand their needs and then meet them. We care deeply about our clients as people.
Work should add to our quality of life, not take away from it. We work hard in bursts, not chronically. We believe in flexibility — working during the hours we feel most energised, from the places that let us live our best lives.
We embrace diversity and inclusivity, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered. Eightx is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants regardless of race, gender, age, caregiving status, religion, caste, nationality, sexual orientation, disability or background, and we'll make reasonable accommodations on request.
